Offers Parenting Workshop

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency of East Central Georgia at Swainsboro Technical College is offering a free parenting workshop on Thursday, September 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Laurens County Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) office located at 904 Claxton Dairy Road in Dublin.

The workshop is designed for anyone who wants to acquire additional parenting skills and will cover areas such as these: different parenting styles; communicating with children; dealing with difficult children; promoting positive behavior; and improving understanding while learning to effectively deal with children.

Child Care Resource and Referral of Swainsboro Tech to Offer CPR/First Aid/Fire

Safety Workshop

The Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency of East Central Georgia of Swainsboro Technical College will conduct classes in CPR/First Aid at the Bethany Home located at 1305 North Street East in Vidalia on Saturday, September 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

These classes are for child care providers and/or anyone interested in attending.  The cost is $40 per participant, and pre-registration is required by September 19.  Childcare will not be provided.
