Curriculum Workshop for Child Care Providers

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency of East Central Georgia at Swainsboro Technical College is offering a Curriculum workshop from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, Oct 16, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. at the Swainsboro Technical College Johnson County Site located on 21 Cedar Creek Dr. Hwy 57 in Soperton.

The class will cover the Eat Healthy, Be Active curriculum.  This training is designed to help you to learn more about childhood overweight, and to allow you to test out a developmentally appropriate curriculum unit with hands-on activities to teach young children about nutrition and physical activity.

The registration fee is $5.00, and pre-registration is required by Oct. 14. Childcare is not provided, and participants will receive two state-accepted hours.
