Child Care Resource and Referral of Swainsboro Tech to Offer Child Abuse Workshop

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency of East Central Georgia at Swainsboro Technical College will offer a class on Child Abuse Awareness on Thursday, July 10, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Wilcox County Extension Office located at 104 2nd Ave in Rochelle.

The workshop will cover Georgia law, state rules and regulations, reporting procedures, sign and symptoms of physical, emotional, sexual abuse and neglect.  There will also be a discussion on how to meet the needs of suspected abused children and communication with parents and staff.

Participants will receive two State-accepted credit hours.
